One Key Resources has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic HR Administrator to assist in the management of our onsite workforce at a leading underground mine in Moranbah. One Key Resources is a specialist provider of managed workforce services, labour hire, recruitment, training and productivity improvement solutions to the mining, oil & gas and infrastructure industries in Australia. We work closely with the majority of major mining houses, tier 1 contractors and specialist service companies to provide opportunities for skilled and motivated employees to join our team across all commodities in various locations in Australia. The Role: As the Onsite HR Administrator, you will be an integral member of our clients site Management Team, and work closely with the Workforce Manager & General Manager to provide overarching, site specific HR and workforce advice to facilitate a productive work culture that will enable the site and relevant key stakeholders to safely meet their business goals. This role will be the main contact point for day to day HR and workforce related matters and will need to be able to integrate with and work closely across various team dynamics. Key Accountabilities:
Work with our clients management team to oversee all site specific HR and workforce related matters
Demonstrate cultural and ethical leadership on daily basis to drive best practice processes, improve workforce engagement levels and champion workforce diversity to support the overall corporate goals and operational outputs.
Work with the Recruitment & Onboarding teams to ensure effective recruitment, selection and mobilisation processes are utilised to secure the most suitable talent and ensure the site achieves its business objectives without disruption.
Advise and assist with performance management processes including goal setting, succession planning and the effective delivery of performance feedback, coaching and counselling to employees to support performance achievement across the business.
Ensure both leave management and travel and fatigue management processes and procedures are adhered to and any issues are identified and addressed appropriately.
Ensure a proper document management system is in place to record all site meeting minutes and correspondence between all parties.
HR Degree (currently studying or recently obtained degree) desired
2 + years of generalist HR experience – including coaching, counselling & performance management, reporting and general operational matters
Mining industry experience including demonstrated familiarity with site based underground coal operations.
Excellent communication, negotiation and diversified stakeholder management skills.
Team player, self-directed worker and understands business needs.
Proficient with the use of web based programs and Microsoft Office packages
