Due to increased operational demands, we are currently recruiting an experienced Business Analyst for an immediate start.
This role offers:
Competitive Hourly Rate – Superannuation on all hours worked
Initial 6-month contract with the possibility of role becoming permanent
Mon-Fri Roster – 45 Hours per week
Accommodation supplied for contract duration
Local onsite point of contact
Duties and Responsibilities:
Comply with site health and safety management systems.
Align behaviors, decisions and actions with the Rio Tinto Priorities and Values
Contribute as a member of the Commercial team to meet team and site goals
Provide strong commercial support to Kestrel Mine. Assist in developing, implementing and improving systems to meet site commercial and operational requirements
Capital governance and preparation and review of investment business cases
To be succesful you will demonstrate:
Experience in a mining/industrial/technical environment
Ability to analyse operational performance and translate impacts into financial terms
Ability to balance technical work with commercial focus and apply rigor and discipline to all business decisions
Well-developed work prioritisation and time management skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Tenacity and resilience even when faced with obstacles
The qualifications/certifications required include:
Finance/Accounting/Engineering Qualifications preferred but not essential
Current QLD Coal Board Medical
Current QLD Standard 11 Statement of attainment
Current Driver’s License
Proof of Australian working entitlement (e.g. Birth Certificate, Passport or Citizenship Certificate)
